Every Wednesday is DAISY day.
This year, to meet rising running costs, the Botanic Garden has had to raise its summer prices to £9 (£9.90 with Gift Aid), a change that came into effect from March 21st. This decision hasn’t been easy, and we are aware that the rise in the cost of living is affecting everybody. With this is mind we are happy to be trialing our DAISY (Donate As It Suits You) days. On these days adult visitors will be asked to choose an entrance donation that is affordable to you, £1, £3, £5 or £7.
DAISY days come into effect with the rise in summer entrance fee and will take place every Wednesday from 23rd March to the end of October.
Please amend the amount to what you wish to pay for your entrance ticket. Later in the booking process you will be asked to choose the Wednesday date you would like to visit.
If you are in one of the categories for free entry to the garden, there is no need to book a ticket in advance. Please report to the Welcome Lodge on arrival with proof of your eligibility for free entry.
Those who are entitled to free entry are:
Children under 18,
Students from all institutions,
University of Bristol staff (including retired) and alumni,
Members of the Friends of the Botanic Garden
If you are unwell on the day of your visit and unable to visit, please let us know and we will be happy to move your booking to an alternative date.
