Welfare Training at Langford, part of the University of Bristol’s Veterinary School, has rewritten our Animal Welfare Officer (AWO) trainingcourse based upon the new EU legislation (EC 1099/2009) and our new course commenced summer of 2012. It is under constant review and updated accordingly, when new data becomes available. Delegates are assessed through multiple-choice questions using Turning Point technology and, if successful, receive accreditation. Unsuccessful candidates receive the original AWO attendance certificate.
