Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Workshop 2025DescriptionData Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Workshop - Building Resilient Production Systems: DEA for Social, Environmental & Economic Sustainability Climate change, geopolitical tensions, black swan events, social injustices and violation of human rights are some of the challenges that current production systems face at a global level. To achieve resilience, production systems need to increase their flexibility and adjust to a continuously changing environment while meeting productivity objectives. On this basis, we are pleased to announce the organisation of the next Performance Analytics Workshop focusing on the contribution of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) towards sustainable and resilient production systems. This workshop is organised by the University of Bristol Business School and the Centre for Business Analytics in Practice of the University of Surrey and financially supported by the University of Bristol’s Business Education Research & Scholarship Network (BERS). It aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts to exchange ideas, share insights, and discuss recent advancements in DEA methodologies, as well as parametric models such as SFA, and their applications in the context of sustainability and resilience.
