DescriptionThe annual Bristol Centre for Medieval Studies PGR Conference, this year running with the theme of 'Power and Performance'. The conference begins at 14:00 on Monday 30th March in the Humanities Research Space, Arts Complex (BS8 1UJ) and will run until 13:00 on Wednesday 1st April. This year's keynote speakers are Dr Peter Dent (Bristol), Dr Eleanor Janega (History Hit) and Dr Cathy Hume (Bristol). Delegates will have the opportunity to attend three keynotes and twelve panels on a variety of themes related to power and performance. Organisers are also running workshops with Bristol Common Press and will be joined by the University of Bristol Reenactment Society. A drinks reception will take place on the first night (30th March) with a poster fair, and a conference dinner on the second night (31st March) at Zizzi's in Clifton Village.
