Daytime Tours

An unusal chance to enjoy the Botanic Garden on a winter weekend. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides will take you on a tour of the garden, stopping off at plants of particular winter interest and warming up in our glasshouses. 

The tours start at 11am and end at 12:30pm.

Come rain or shine there will be plenty to see - wrap up warm! Tours are an excellent opportunity to hear updates of the innumerable new developments and learn about plants of seasonal interest.

Free tickets are avaiable for Friends of the garden, students, children, University of Bristol staff, and essential carers.

For visitors who qualify for free entry, please bring proof of your membership/staff or student status.

Cancellation Policy: If we cancel a course or workshop, we will give you a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the start of a workshop with the aim of providing you at least 48 hours notice. If we need to cancel a course, you will receive a full refund, or we will offer you a transfer to another workshop or course, where available. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible and made via the same method of payment. If you need to cancel a course or workshop, you must inform us 14 days prior to the start date of your course or workshop to receive a full refund. If you provide between 7 and 14 days notice, we will refund 50% of the cost of the course or workshop. No refund will be given if the notice period is less than 7 days prior to the start of the workshop or course.
