Chemigram printing involves using light sensitive paper with resists such as vaseline to experiment with printmaking techniques. You will learn how to make your own darkroom chemistry at home so you can experiment using these with the resists. In this workshop we will use plants from the botanical gardens and different resists to build different layers and create otherworldly effects on to light sensitive paper.

The workshop is aimed at adults but is suitable for both adults and children over 8 years old. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The workshop runs from 10am until 12pm outdoors on the Botanic Garden terrace.

Cancellation Policy: If we cancel a course or workshop, we will give you a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the start of a workshop with the aim of providing you at least 48 hours notice. If we need to cancel a course, you will receive a full refund, or we will offer you a transfer to another workshop or course, where available. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible and made via the same method of payment. If you need to cancel a course or workshop, you must inform us 14 days prior to the start date of your course or workshop to receive a full refund. If you provide between 7 and 14 days notice, we will refund 50% of the cost of the course or workshop. No refund will be given if the notice period is less than 7 days prior to the start of the workshop or course. We do require minimum numbers for our course to run.
