The 51st Population Genetics Group meeting will be held at the University of Bristol on 3-6th January 2018. This conference, one of the longest running evolutionary biology meetings in the world, is a great place for researchers at all stages of their career to meet in a supportive atmosphere, and to present and discuss their ideas. The subject area is broad and includes and all aspects of population and evolutionary genetics, but particularly their relevance to genomic architecture, understanding selection on quantitative traits, the evolution of mating systems, and ecological speciation. Plenary speakers this year are: Tracey Chapman (UEA, UK); Daven Presgraves (University of Rochester, USA), Katie Peichel (University of Bern, Switzerland), and Mike Brockhurst (University of Sheffield). Registration and submission of contributed presentations will begin in Autumn 2018.
