Animal Welfare Officer Course: 11th-12th June 2024

Description

This event is open to all sections of the red meat industry; Abattoir personnel, Auditors, Official veterinarians, Manufacturers, to name but a few. Welfare Training at Langford, part of the University of Bristol’s Veterinary School, has rewritten our Animal Welfare Officer (AWO) training course based upon the EU legislation (EC 1099/2009) and our new course commenced summer of 2012. It is under constant review and updated accordingly, when new data becomes available. 

Delegates are assessed through multiple- choice questions using Point Solutions technology and, if successful, receive accreditation. Unsuccessful candidates receive the original AWO attendance certificate. The knowledge gained on this course is an essential element for successful completion of the Certificate of Competence (EC 1099/2009).
